Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Develop and implement highquality cocurricular programs for specific populations (ex: transfer student experience and sophomore success initiative) and campuswide events (ex: Wellness Wednesday and Sexual Assault Awareness Month) grounded in evidencebased research and the universitys Ignatian values.
Serve as primary point of contact for faculty staff and students interested in collaborating on campuswide programming including Family Weekend Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Wellness Wednesday.
Serve as the advisor for the transfer livinglearning community (LLC) including serving as instructor for LLC Ignatian Leadership course.
Assist with curriculum development for ORNT 1000/2000 courses and LMU CARES educational trainings.
Serve as ORNT 1000/2000 instructor.
Serve as primary point of contact for Enrollment Management regarding collaboration on implementing the universitys ATLAS (Accelerating Transfer and Lowincome Access and Success) Program funded by the U.S. Department of Education.
Manage programming budget.
Manage current grant funding including detailed records of expenditures and endofyear reporting.
Identify grant opportunities to support ST&S populations and initiatives.
Collaborate with Student Affairs Research & Assessment to establish learning outcomes and measurements for ST&S populations and initiatives.
Oversee social media plan for marketing awareness and education.
Supervise student staff.
Represent ST&S and LMU within the Student Affairs and Academic Affairs communities and serve on committees as required.
Perform other duties related to departmental or divisional objectives as assigned or directed.

Required Qualifications
Typically a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. A Masters degree is preferred in student development higher education or related field. The Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge skills and abilities needed to keep abreast of federal regulation/policy changes
Three years of higher education experience related to student development student leadership and community engagement.
Prior experience in project management event planning mentoring and advising and relationship management is desirable.
Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with students faculty professional staff members of the sponsoring religious orders parents and family members.
High level of cultural competency including sensitivity to issues of race class gender socioeconomic status religion and the ethical dilemmas that may arise from the development of strong reciprocal campus and community partnerships.
Demonstrated experience navigating faithbased contests and the ability to communicate within those contexts with diverse interfaith and nonfaith constituents.
Ability to plan organize and execute daytoday operations; work under deadlines and maintain a detailoriented approach to each task; ability to prioritize and delegate the flow of work on a daily basis; ability to prepare reports and other documents efficiently.
Knowledge of theoretical and practical dimensions of student development and organizational theories and pedagogies across a wide array of academic disciplines.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
