Job Description

What is the Role

We are looking for a someone located in or near San Francisco willing to visit our office two days a week who is a passionate datadriven marketing professional seeking a manager role to deliver real business impact through campaigns that produce pipeline and advance customer adoption. You will work closely with regional and distributed team members to deliver high quality campaigns with measurable metrics required to accelerate continued growth for Elastic via customer acquisition and expansion. This role requires a combination of strong planning organizational and execution skills to efficiently plan develop implement and measure field activities to deliver marketing contributions to the sales and partner pipeline.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Regional/Field Marketing: Develop and execute targeted regional marketing programs including field events executive programs and trade shows with a focus on enterprise accounts. Collaborate with sales teams to craft accountlevel marketing plans for top strategic accounts.
  • Demand Generation and Lead Generation: Drive demand creation and lead generation activities to develop qualified sales leads and enhance brand awareness. Measure and analyze the impact of marketing programs on sales cycles providing regular updates through weekly reports and monthly dashboards.
  • Event Management: Coordinate logistics speakers agendas and staff for Elastic events. Manage event budgets and contribute to the planning of Elastics participation in external industry events.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work crossfunctionally to understand key technology trends and coordinate presentation content with program stakeholders. Participate in sales calls and meetings to align marketing efforts with sales goals and priorities.
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the Customer Experience team to engage with local users and customers. Manage relationships and capture relevant stories to build a strong reference base and drive awareness of the Elastic product stack.
  • Content Creation and Innovation: Contribute ideas and feedback to new content creation with a distributed marketing team. Identify and implement innovative programs that scale to reach a broad audience.
  • Collateral & Promotional materials: Work with Product Marketing to ensure distribution of (sometimes printed) materials such as case studies datasheets or giveaways to our local sales teams or whenever needed for campaigns
  • Logistics: Place and manage shipments via our warehouse prior to execution of regional program. Coordinate logistics speakers agendas and staff for Elastic programs
  • Social media: Help monitor and promote our social selling index (SSI) on LinkedIn and post programs when required through our relevant social media channels (Twitter Facebook Linkedin)
  • Partners: Support and partner with local partner initiatives such as smaller seminars lunch & learns or programs

What You Bring Along:

  • Minimum 57 years experience in field marketing event management ABM campaign execution or demand generation supporting sales goals and priority markets
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Splash Demandbase SFDC Userled Allocadia Tableau and Sendoso
  • Strong understanding and experience in Account Based Marketing (ABM).
  • Proactive and resultsdriven with a positive attitude towards project completion.
  • Highly organized and an eye for detail. Things move quickly here but there are always notes spreadsheets and lists
