Overview
Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis NM is seeking a PRN Nurse Tech II to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to our nursing staff assisting with patient care and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our patients. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a supportive healthcare setting.

Qualifications
- High school or GED
- Specialized shortterm training in medical / surgical patient care or the delivery of special care
- One to three years experience preferred
- Formal medical technician or military training preferred
- BLS certification required at time of hire
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Performs specific patient care procedures (such as phlebotomy wound care gastric and urethral tube insertion and bedside testing) under the direction of a licensed Nurse and / or performs specific supportprocedures for the operation of a Nursing or Clinical Department.
- Operates patient monitoring systems.
- Transports patients and documents action on patient record.
- Collects and records vital signs weights and other patient data in patient record.
- Administers oxygen under the direction of a licensed Nurse.
- Assists nurses and physicians with sterile procedures.
- Documents all care provided in the appropriate place in the patient record
- Performs other functions as required.
