Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Greets patients and assists with patient flow;
- Assist physicians with patient examinations procedures and treatments
- Collect and record patient medical histories vitals and other pertinent information
- Perform routine laboratory tests and sample collection
- Educate patients on procedures treatment plans medications and preventative care
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and office policies
- Follow all health care privacy and safety rules and adheres to Dayton Physicians Core Values
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and/or Experience: - Requires a High School Diploma or GED and;
- Current CMA certification from an accredited program or active LPN license in the state of Ohio
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in the electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work effectively in a fast pace environment
- Current CPR certification if not it must be obtained within 60 days of employment and kept current thereafter.
