Idaho National Laboratory is seeking to hire an Opportunity Analysis Coordinator Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our Nuclear Nonproliferation team. The team operates on a 10x80 schedule with every other Friday off and is based at our DTRA SI Plex facility in Ft. Belvoir VA. This location is approximately 20 miles from our Arlington VA office.
The SDAOA SMEwill lead groundbreaking technical analysis in nuclear safeguards reactor security fuel cycle intelligence and threat analysis. Your expertise will help develop response options that are the lifeline of our nation such as power grids oil and gas pipelines and nuclear facilities. You will report to the manager over Nuclear Nonproliferation.
Responsibilities Include:
Authorized to interface with and act on the behalf of the INL with US Government and other customers agencies other national laboratories and industry at levels required to achieve goals.
Interface directly with primary internal and external mission area clients collaborators and advisors on matters of National Security business growth strategy scope cost and schedule. Authorized to lead develop and execute strategy develop business for program growth related to NNP and N&HS mission and focus areas.
Apply your extensive knowledge in intelligence analysis cybersecurity and engineering to interpret data from both open source and classified information creating comprehensive technical reports briefings and white papers.
Lead collaborative programs working with analysts control systems experts nuclear and power engineers and cyber researchers on a variety of technical projects using design thinking tools and methodologies.
Track project deliverables using appropriate tools. Ensure proper planning and scheduling for operational related activities to support successful completion of program work. Manage project changes and interventions to achieve successful project outputs.
Provide recommendations to project management to allow resolution of problems. Use appropriate conflict resolution skills to manage competing team member interests.
Communicate with team members (Department of Energy Department of Defenses Defense Threat Reduction Agency and others) and coordinate among INL operations research and business organizations to support programs in area of specialty.
Ensure that laboratory requirements for managing projects are met and are consistently applied in the acceptance and integration of work. Integrate managed scope with ongoing and evolving mission needs
