JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing the safe efficient transportation of students to and from school and school related activities for a designated area.
EDUCATION TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) from an accredited institution
- Three years of progressively responsible experience in school/public transportation or related field
- Three years of supervisory experience
- OR
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge skills and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position
- Valid and current Florida Commercial Drivers License(CDL) Class Bwith a School Bus Endorsement S and Passenger Endorsement P
- Must maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the District Safe Driver Plan. Drivers license must be maintained as a condition of continued employment
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- All hires must pass the preemployment drug screening according to the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employees Testing Act (OTETA).
- All hires must submit to and pass an initial drug test and subsequent random drug tests in accordance with the requirements of Florida Statute 112.0455 and the Pasco County Sheriffs Office.
- All hires must meet dexterity and reflex requirements according to Pasco County Schools.
