Job Summary:
The AMC School of Medicine has an opening for a fulltime Senior Instructor position. This position will reside within the Center for Health Equity (CHE) Evaluation and Data Services unit with faculty membership in the Department of Family Medicine (Regular Faculty Series). The Sr. Instructor will be expected to assist with developing research in health equity while collaborating with other members of the CHE Department of Family Medicine and other teams on campus. This position will participate in grant writing to secure extramural funding for their research program as well as contributing to CHEwide funding initiatives. They will provide professional and scientifically rigorous statistical expertise to support the CHEs communitydriven data dashboard and evaluation initiatives. This may include GIS mapping and spatial analysis development and testing of analytic solutions study design and analytic consultation management of large datasets biostatistics expertise and data visualization techniques. The position involves dissemination of results to a variety of audiences including community partners. Primary authorship and coauthorship on abstracts oral and poster presentations and scientific manuscripts will be involved. Preference will be given to candidates with strong backgrounds in social determinants of health research community engagement and practice and quantitative methods.
This position also provides research support to principal and coinvestigators (PIs and CoIs) research proposal development and project implementation and departmental analytical projects by ensuring data quality preparing analytic plans conducting analyses disseminating results providing project management and coordinating other research tasks. Further the individual in this role will provide support and mentorship to student research assistants and other trainees.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
Senior Instructor: $90000 to $105000
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is nonexempt.
