RESEARCH ENGINEER Laboratory for Nuclear Science The Bates Engineering Group to engage in challenging upcoming projects. The Research Engineer will design specify fabricate and procure complex experimental equipment to be used in detectors and particle accelerators.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: Masters degree in Engineering Physics or related field; a minimum of four years ofrelevant experience working with air and fluid cooling systems various detector technologies for physics research magnets ultra high vacuum equipment or similar complex mechanical systems; and be highly motivated to work in a crossdisciplinary environment on R&D and engineering activities. PREFERRED: PhD in Engineering. Job #24950
