We are currently seeking a Bilingual Community Lead who is fluent in Spanish and English to lead one of our multifamily properties and help us deliver exceptional experiences to a diverse resident base.
Compass Communities is hiring a Property Manager who will be responsible for managing the daytoday operations of the property while building strong relationships with residents vendors and staff. This position is ideal for a handson leader with a background in property management strong communication skills in both Spanish and English and a passion for fostering inclusive thriving communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all community operations ensuring consistent delivery of excellent customer service and resident satisfaction.
- Manage leasing activities including application processing resident qualification lease signing renewals and moveins.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanishspeaking residents and prospects ensuring clear communication and a welcoming experience.
- Negotiate and manage vendor and service contracts to maintain property standards and budget compliance.
- Lead maintenance coordination and property inspections to ensure all common areas and units are safe clean and functional.
- Address resident concerns with professionalism empathy and effective problem solving including conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws local property regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records in property management and CRM software and prepare reports on leasing activity financials and community metrics.
- Support and lead the onsite team through clear direction coaching and performance feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
- Previous experience in property management leasing or community operations.
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships and resident interactions.
- Familiarity with leasing software CRM systems and property operations.
- Experience with LIHTC or affordable housing compliance is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to engage across cultures and communities.
- Legal administrative or conflict resolution experience is a bonus but not required.
Compensation:
- Base salary depends on overall experience $70K
