Project Manager

Position Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for planning executing and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and budget constraints. This role involves coordinating crossfunctional teams managing project scope and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Reporting to the Director of Project Management the Project Manager will support initiatives that improve operational efficiency regulatory compliance and product delivery within the automotive finance and insurance (F&I) space particularly in vehicle service contracts and related warranty products.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects across various departments (e.g. IT Claims Compliance Sales).
- Define project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans using Smartsheet including timelines budgets and resource allocation.
- Track project milestones manage risks and ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Communicate project expectations and progress to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate regular project meetings maintain thorough documentation and support postproject reviews.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g. federal/state F&I laws) and internal standards.
- Assist the Director of Project Management with portfoliolevel tracking reporting and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Project Management Information Systems or a related field.
- 35 years of project management experience; F&I or automotive warranty industry preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Smartsheet for project tracking reporting and resource management.
- PMP CAPM or other project management certifications are a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall or Hybrid).
- Excellent communication collaboration and problemsolving skills.
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams and external partners or vendors.
- Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with F&I product lifecycle (e.g. service contracts GAP tire & wheel).
- Experience in compliance or regulatory projects within the automotive or insurance sectors.
- Ability to drive stakeholder alignment and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
