Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast affordable broadband to a wide range of customers including consumers businesses government agencies and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
The Sr. Product Manager Technical will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing Kuiper satellite communication services. The successful candidate must have direct experience with satellite and/or wireless broadband services for residential (B2C) customers. Candidates must have deep expertise in building E2E consumer commerce experience and is a proven people leader
Key job responsibilities
In this role you will work directly with customers engineering teams and operational stakeholders to define Kuiper service offerings via expertly crafted working backwards business requirements documents which can easily be translated into product and technical deliverables.
This role requires the ability to work in a collaborative analytical and fastpaced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical crossfunctional teams. The candidate must have strong business judgment dive deep into data have strong writing skills and be comfortable leading executivelevel reviews. Candidates must be able to analyze and implement subscription lifecycle models with appropriate KPIs for different customer segments.
The best candidates will have deep understanding of customer needs for modern telecommunication services. Candidates with demonstrated business and operational experience within high scale fixed wireless and satellite telecommunications services targeting consumer and enterprise verticals will be preferred.

A day in the life
Define the products and service strategy for Kuiper consumer services
Create detailed product requirements documents based on an intimate knowledge of the specific customer verticals including use case prioritization feature definition and product roadmap
Work with leadership team to set the customer strategy and make appropriate highjudgment tradeoffs between features and speedtolaunch
Manage entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution and work with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver on that vision e.g. engineering sales finance operations international
Responsible for launch plan and enablement working to ensure that all teams have what they need to be successful
Establish goals and reviewing metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success
Research and identify new opportunities to innovate on behalf of our customers
Anticipate bottlenecks manage risk and escalations and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
Bachelors degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executivelevel prioritization and planning
Experience in using analytical tools such as Tableau Qlikview QuickSight
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
