Job Description

Work Place Flexibility: Hybrid

Legal Entity:Entergy Services (OLD)

***This position will be filled as a Tax Specialist Tax Specialist Sr Tax Specialist Sr Lead or Tax Specialist Sr. Staff depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate***

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

Prepares tax filings records tax expense and liabilities and/or administers appropriate software tools. This position is to be filled in our tax accounting group.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Prepares and maintains tax records returns reports and other related materials
  • Participates in the development and implementation of tax strategy.
  • Determines appropriate accounting treatment for taxrelated items and records the results of tax positions/transactions.
  • Prepares regulatory reports and responds to regulatory data requests.
  • Prepare and review state and local tax compliance and audits and research tax laws.
  • Assist in accounting closes and provide regulatory support and assist in computing depreciation.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum education required of the position

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent work experience.


Minimum experience required of the position

  • 5 years of relevant Tax Accounting and/or Finance experience.

Desired:

  • Tax Specialist 04 Years
  • Tax Specialist Sr 5 years
  • Tax Specialist Sr. Lead 7 years
  • Tax Specialist Sr. Staff 8 years

Minimum knowledge skills and abilities required of the position

  • None

Any certificates licenses etc. required for the position:

  • Desired: CPA and/or CMI
