About Executive Home Care of Wake Forest
Were seeking kind reliable and skilled Personal Care Aides (PCAs) who bring not only handson care but heartled support to older adults and individuals with disabilities in their homes. This isnt just a job. Its a purpose. As a PCA youll provide vital assistance with daily routines and personal needs that allow our clients to remain safe comfortable and independent at home. Youll be the steady trusted presence they and their families count on.
What Youll Be Doing
- Assist with personal care tasks (bathing grooming dressing toileting hygiene)
- Support mobility needs including safe transfers and ambulation
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Provide medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean safe environment
- Document tasks completed and communicate observations clearly
Who You Are (The Superstar Were Seeking)
- Comfortable working independently and managing your time
- Respectful of all backgrounds beliefs and identities
- A great communicator; clear honest and empathetic
- Committed to confidentiality and high standards of care
- Current NC Personal Care Aide (PCA) certification or proof of training meeting NC DHSR standards
- 1 year of handson caregiving experience (paid or unpaid)
- Reliable transportation and a valid NC drivers license
- Clear background check and eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ability to lift bend and assist clients with physical tasks
- Must be able to pass TB screening and provide health documentation
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) (highly preferred)
