Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY:
The Lead Bartender will work closely with invenue management to ensure that the bar is maintaining The Groups standards of excellence relating to attitude customer service employee relations and job performance. The ideal candidate will be an energetic professional who excels at multitasking. They are well organized flexible and enjoy the challenges of working in a fastpaced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain updated cocktail and liquor menus in conjunction with invenue management.
- Maintain inventory control and receiving all liquor and related supplies in conjunction with invenue management.
- Coordinate all weekly ordering in consultation with management.
- Lead all new hire beverage training in consultation with invenue managers.
- Ensure compliance of all local state and federal laws and regulations.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the bar and bar equipment.
- Assist in cocktail development for seasonal and trend changes.
- Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial efficient and professional manner maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Recognize areas for improvement and offer positive solutions for change.
- Handling cash credit and debit card transactions ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons balancing the cash register.
- Perform all opening and closing duties.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Attend monthly meetings with beverage director.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Must be able to stand during entire shift often up to 8 hours with frequent bending squatting and lifting.
