What You Will Do:
The PSD repair operations has a rare opportunity for a Process Engineer in Case repair operations team. This is a fastpaced technical position requiring project management and technical skills to complete longterm projects along with everyday shop floor support. The Individual is responsible for daytoday interaction with hourly workers and other departments at various levels of management. This is an onsite position.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure released technical data is interpreted and implemented correctly per FAA requirements to operations.
Work with operations & quality teams for new process plans and all quality compliance requirements.
Implement Process Improvements to Establish WorldClass Repair Process
Detailed Understanding of Part Processes and operational needs to Implement solutions in PSD business
Process Plan Ownership & TechData Expertise
Handle communications with ASE CTS MTU teams for New techdata (EA) or technical information requests.
Support routine technical problems and requests from inspectors and machine operators
Responsibility includes revising or developing service masters and new tech repairs
Coordinate with finance and customer service to ensure repair pricing process is robust and accurate
Fixture design for new products/processes
Incumbent must be willing to complete export Jurisdiction/Classification training
Qualifications You Must Have:
Advanced degree and 3 years of Engineering Quality Manufacturing Operations or AftermarketAerospace industry experience; OR Bachelors degree and 5 years of relevant experience; OR Associates degree and 7 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Degree in STEM field; Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering fields preferred.
Engineering experience in manufacturing environment and working knowledge of shop practices processes procedures and machinery.
Strong technical and functional knowledge of turbine engines and/or Pratt & Whitney products
Project management experience and ability to prioritize work in a fastpaced environment.
Thorough understanding of manufacturing process and/or repair process life cycle
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma).
Experience working with Solumina MES Teamcenter SAP ERP CAD and MS Office Suite.
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including senior level management.
Experienced in determining export classification of technology in accordance with the ITAR and EAR
Knowledge of ITAR EAR and other applicable laws and regulations governing international trade

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
