Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree in Education or related field. Valid California teaching credential and/or administrative credential (dual SPED /MS credential preferred). Minimum of three to five (35) years of successful P12 teaching experience (preferably in California public schools).
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate in Education or related field. Experience mentoring new or preservice teachers. Experience with online learning platforms and remote supervision tools (e.g. Zoom SIMBE ). Bilingual or multilingual abilities. Strong interpersonal communication and mentoring skills. Familiarity with California TPEs TPAs and CTC credentialing standards. Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice equity and inclusion in a university setting. Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work.
