Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Primary Teacher (PRT) to join our team at Podar International School in Nellore. This is a fulltime midlevel position requiring 4 to 6 years of teaching experience. As a PRT Teacher you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and fostering an engaging learning environment. You will implement the curriculum while contributing to the holistic development of our students.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience of at least 46 years in primary teaching showcasing a strong foundation in educational methodologies.
- Must demonstrate excellent command and teaching proficiency in Science Math and English (Mandatory skill).
- Prior experience or ability in Art teaching with a solid grasp of fine arts principles.
- Ability to communicate fluently in Telugu facilitating effective teaching in regional language for enhanced comprehension.
- Indepth knowledge of Social Studies curriculum and ability to teach core concepts effectively to primary students.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a conducive learning environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage students and collaborate with parents and staff.
- Passionate about teaching with a commitment to creating a nurturing and productive classroom atmosphere.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement creative engaging and structured lesson plans to teach Science Math and English to primary students.
- Adapt teaching methodologies to suit individual student needs and encourage active inquiry and creative thinking.
- Facilitate art activities encouraging student creativity through varied fine arts projects and assignments.
- Foster a supportive and safe classroom environment that nurtures the emotional and academic growth of students.
- Assess and report on students progress regularly providing constructive feedback for continual improvement.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to discuss student progress and address their inquiries and concerns.
- Participate actively in school meetings staff development programs and contribute to the school community.
