The Customer Category development manager will be responsible for defining and driving how to win strategies and JBPs/Partnerships with one of Germanys biggest customers across all channels within the customer (HM SM Discount Drugstores).

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Key contact for internal MDLZ CatDev teams to ensure translation of national category growth strategy into customer plans across all levers that drive category growth (promotion assortment communication)
  • Key contact for CatMan teams within the customer to build advisory expertise for category growth within MDLZ categories & broader snacking
  • Understanding and leveraging category consumer shopper retailer insights as well as loyalty data and creating a compeling story to support strategies
  • Monitoring and identifying mid/long term growth opportunities at channel and customer levels
  • As a category expert join Customer CatDev leads to customer meetings to inspire creating a joint category vision

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:

  • Min 67 years of professional experience in FMCG with a strong background in 2 of KA CPA and Marketing.
  • University degree in a related field MBA is a plus
  • Strong stakeholder management influencing skills and resilience to hold an alternative POV is a must
  • Very strong analytical skills commercial acumen passion growth mindset and learning agility are needed
  • A futurefocused mindset curiosity about industry trends innovation for consumers and shoppers are needed
  • English and German language skills

Please note that this role is also suitable for parttime work

Relocation Support Available

No Relocation support available however for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
