POSITION ARCHITECT HEALTHCARE PROJECTS
LOCATION ALBERTA OR BRITISH COLUMBIA

Role description:
Arcadis is looking for a wellexperienced Architect with a healthcare project focus to join our team.

Role accountabilities:
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within Albertas healthcare sector to expand the firms client base
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers contractors and other stakeholders
- Meet with clients and represent the firm at various working groups and lead presentations
- Lead the design and delivery of complex healthcare projects ensuring alignment with client needs regulatory requirements and best practices in healthcare design
- Lead or participate with multidisciplinary project teams related to projects ensuring delivery of quality projects while meeting or exceeding Arcadis commercial objectives
- Be a design and technical resource for the project teams
- Be able to travel about 25% of the time to meet clients or to go to project sites
Qualifications & Experience:
- 15 years of experience in the field of healthcare architecture
- Licensed Architect
- Experience managing and mentoring a team consisting of Architects Technologists and Designers
- Experience in client engagement
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are a requirement
