The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RIMUHC) is a worldrenowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal Quebec the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RIMUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Qubec Sant (FRQS).
Position summary
The Garzia lab is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our research program focused on pediatric sarcomas. The successful candidate will lead projects investigating the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms underlying resistance and metastasis utilizing both in vitro and in vivo model systems as well as patientderived samples.
Our laboratory specializes in cuttingedge functional genomics approaches at both the bulk and singlecell level. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment with access to stateoftheart technologies and resources.

General Duties
Design and perform studies analyze data
Supervise and train students
Assist with preparation of reports manuscripts and grant applications
Present work at internal local national and international meetings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Status: Temporary full time (35hour workweek)
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience. (Consult McGill Universitys Minimum Funding Policy for Postdoctoral fellows)
