The Good Spirit School Division Invites applications for a Temporary Kindergarten Teacher
Canora Junior Elementary School (1.0 FTE)
Canora Junior Elementary School is looking for a committed dynamic early years teacher who is familiar with Play to Learn approaches & activities that will promote the physical mental and social development and the school readiness of young students.

Start/End Date:
August 25 2025 to December 19 2025 or upon return of the regular employee

Temporary 1.0 FTE
Salary Details:
In accordance with STF Provincial Collective Agreement.

The successful applicant will have the following knowledge skills abilities and educational background:
- Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate
- Bachelor of Education should have a high school focus
- A Reflective Practitioner
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A high degree of emotional intelligence combined with a growth mindset
- Strong community involvement
- Physical Education is the main subject
The remaining timetable will be constructed around the instructional strengths and grade experiences of successful applicant. There may be preference to a willingness for some physical education & health leadership but it is not mandatory. Applicants with a willingness to contribute to other extracurricular programs (athletics and arts) and be present within a small community will be valued.

Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
