We are seeking a Resource Industries Support Manager to lead our Dragline and Electric Rope Shovel (ERS) parts and sales portfolio. This is a permanent role based in our Mackay branch.
About the Role
In this leadership position you will be responsible for developing team capability and driving the growth of parts revenue specific to Draglines and ERS. You will lead a skilled sales and parts team working collaboratively to support key customers and deliver tailored solutions to build market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead develop and grow the competence and capability of the sales and parts team supporting Dragline and ERS equipment.
- Drive strategic marketing and commercial initiatives to maintain and grow market share.
- Validate equipment overhaul forecasts and contribute to customer shutdown planning
- Oversee parts and machine upgrade tenders through to component delivery.
- Manage customer engagement processes and build trustbased relationships.
- Develop accurate and competitive pricing models to win and retain business.
- Monitor and challenge the competitive landscape implementing tactical strategies.
- Develop team structure and processes to support future growth.
About You:
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Commerce Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- A minimum of 5 years in a management or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the mining and heavy equipment industries including relevant legislation and operational regulations.
- Experience with both Caterpillar and nonCaterpillar equipment with indepth knowledge of associated business systems and processes. Direct experience with Dragline and ERS machinery will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence stakeholders and customers with professionalism discretion and confidence.
