The Boeing CompanyPosition Overview:
Boeing is seeking experienced Systems Engineers to join our team in Albuquerque NM developing new advanced concepts for the DoD. This position will be starting on the ground floor of a new program with requirements definition setting up requirements management tools and processes working with the multiskilled team to complete an SRR/SFR. The position will support the entire life cycle of the program through design procurement integration test and validation. This position may serve as the SEIT IPT lead.
Position Responsibilities:
Applies an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to lead activities to plan design develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced systems and system solutions.
Leads others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical functional and program interfaces.
Leads analyses to optimize total system and/or system architecture.
Leads analyses for affordability safety reliability maintainability testability human systems integration survivability vulnerability susceptibility system security regulatory certification product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
Leads develops maintains and identifies improvements the planning organization implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes tools risk issues opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
Knowledge of tasking performed throughout engineering development lifecycle (requirements design software test & integration)
5 years experience with requirements development verification validation ICDs risk issues and opportunities management and/or trade studies
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
3 years of experience with DOORS and/or CAMEO
3 years of experience with CONOPS development
