Our approach emphasizes individualized learning neurodevelopmental strategies and strengthsbased OverviewThe Educational Coordinator plays a key role in overseeing daily educational operations ensuring alignment with state educational standards supervising teachers and classroom staff and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Reporting to the Educational Administrator/Program Director this position ensures that NEARIs academic programming is of the highest quality and produces positive student Responsibilities Academic Leadership & OperationsSupervise mentor and support teachers including coteaching facilitating teachers in best practices for diverse learners neurodevelopmental approaches and brainbased learning and update academic and elective that lessons align with state educational standards and that classrooms run in staff hiring by reviewing applications conducting interviews and making teacher coverage and ensure substitute teachers have lesson professional development in areas of operations in the absence of middle manager or assist with student interventions as Development & CoordinationParticipate in team meetings to draft and refine the implementation of IEPs ensuring compliance and all meetings with external stakeholders related to student Process CoordinationDevelop MCAS testing schedules and oversee internal test students receive accommodations as outlined in their scores and coordinate curriculum adjustments based on Reporting & Special ProgramsOversee the completion and dissemination of quarterly grades and IEP progress timely and accurate reporting to parents guardians and service with planning and coordinating special events and summer Coordination & TrainingAttend and facilitate staff meetings ensuring efficient vacation schedules to maintain program teachers classroom aides and MCAS training for teachers and teachers on accessing and using the Massachusetts Curriculum & RequirementsEducation: Masters degree in Special Education Educational Leadership School Administration or a related : Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in primary or secondary Skills: Strong ability to lead and motivate a team of educators and & ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to oversee multiple responsibilities while ensuring compliance with educational : Strong written and verbal skills to interact with students parents teachers and of Education Policies: Familiarity with local state and federal to Student Success: Passion for fostering an inclusive and supportive learning Proficiency: Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into teaching and Engagement: Ability to build positive relationships with families and stakeholders.
