Job Description
Shipping/Distribution/Receiving Coordinator
Location: Sparks NV
Pay: $25.00 $27.00/hour
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
What Youll Do:
- Preparing and distributing shipping documents such as picking lists packing slips and Bills of Lading.
- Coordinating various shipping methods including UPS LTL customer pickups and full truckloads.
- Managing data entry for shipments and ensuring accuracy in the system.
- Dispatching trucks and directing yard traffic based on schedules and availability.
- Communicating with drivers team members and customer service to ensure smooth operations.
- Receiving inbound products and auditing freight bills for accuracy.
- Planning daily truckload shipments based on tonnage delivery dates and customer requirements.
- Maintaining organized records and ensuring compliance with document retention policies.
- Upholding safety standards and wearing required PPE in the plant environment.
- Performing additional duties as assigned to support the distribution team.
Qualifications :
- Must be computer literate and able to multitask
- Knowledge of Microsoft D365 software is a plus
- Experience in shipping and receiving is a plus
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety procedures
- Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential
