Job Description

As the Storage segment within the Shelter Solutions Business Unit continues to thrive we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales to join our team. In this role you will be instrumental in driving our strategic sales planning customer satisfaction and business development efforts across national accounts.

Scope:

  • Lead a team of 35 sales/national account managers with an emphasis on largescale accounts in the western US.
  • Oversee a portfolio exceeding $120 million with a focus on expanding margins alongside consistent volume growth

Responsibilities:

  • Establish sales and margin targets aligned with company objectives
  • Develop strategic sales plans to drive sales growth customer segmentation and customer stratification
  • Collaborate with business development to maximize value from project specifications enhancing close ratios and expanding margins
  • Work closely with crossfunctional leaders to develop a coordinated gotomarket strategy for Storage and associated product solutions
  • Drive various projects to enhance transactional efficiency and support customers and internal operations effectively

Essential Functions:

  • Develop annual sales plans aligned with Buildings strategy and objectives
  • Direct the implementation and execution of sales policies and practices
  • Coordinate growth strategies with Business Development to expand market share
  • Recommend sales strategies based on market research and competitor analyses
  • Lead integration initiatives to support our aggressive M&A strategy
  • Foster a sales culture that prioritizes exceptional customer service
  • Drive sales performance through talent acquisition and development
  • Build develop and manage a sales team capable of executing sales and service initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in business administration sales marketing or related field required
  • 10 years of sales leadership experience including executivelevel roles
  • Strong knowledge and experience in technical product selling
  • Equivalent experience in a similar industry or product field preferred
  • Exceptional leadership interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead successfully in a matrixed environment
  • Ability to influence leadership to adopt new ideas products and approaches
  • Proven track record of leading teams to execute strategy and deliver superior results
  • Remote office location is acceptable with regular travel expected to support the business

The US base salary for this role is $160000 $200000 annually Sales Incentive Plan $750 monthly car allowance medical dental vision benefits starting day 1 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role level and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including jobrelated skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Fulltime is defined as regularly working 30 hours per week.)
