Responsibilities

  • Schedule warranty repair orders and submit claims of manufacturer warranty
  • Maintain receivables schedules; service contract claim submissionand follow up
  • Coordinatewith vendors and manufacturers to ensure prompt receipt and shipment of replacement parts
  • Communicate with Service Advisors to definescope ofwarranty claims
  • Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and to verify criteria
  • Reconcile warranty receivables and work with accounting department to obtain payments
  • Stayabreast of all factory recalls announcements and procedures
  • Establish and build positive relationships withmanufacturers designated warranty representatives andrepresentatives ofaftermarket warranty companieswith which the dealership conducts business
  • Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion accuracy and legibility
  • Determine applicable labor operation codes failure codes and/or other administrative data required
  • Ensure all deductibles are properly documented to ensure they are collected from the guest at the time of repair completion
  • Review returned and/or rejected warranty claims and prepare repair orders forresubmission
  • Maintain record of claims submitted returned/rejected and paid and their current status

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of Ford warranty administration experience OR
  • Minimum of 2 years of Service Advisor and/or Service Coordinator experience preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience dealing with complex issues and customer concerns
  • Integrity and honesty are absolute requirements
  • Effectively model and reinforce company Core Values and Mission Statement
  • Valid drivers license and good driving record
  • Pass preemployment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to type and utilize all functions of a computer and various operating programs
