Position: Security Officer Access Control
Location: Bronx
Work Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $18.00
Experience: 2 years security experience

Shifts Available:
- Fulltime Overnight Shift: Sunday Monday Wednesday Thursday & Friday 10pm6am
As a Customer Service Security Officer your primary responsibility will be to provide JSB standard customer service while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our clients customers employees visitors and guests. You will be the face of our organization maintaining a professional demeanor and presenting yourself with confidence and poise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist visitors provide directions and deter loitering
- Respond immediately to emergencies providing necessary support and contacting emergency services when required
- Patrol the site ensuring a secure environment
- Write detailed incident reports and log book entries
- Protect our clients and companys assets from theft assault fire or other safety issues
- Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently as needed
Requirements:
- 2 years of security experience
- 2 years of CCTV experience
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- CPR & First Aid certification
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Flexible work schedule including weekends
- Strong and Consistent Work Ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Command of the English language and ability to communicate clearly
- Proficiency in using smartphones and tablets
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old (or as per state regulations)
- Authorized to legally work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug test with negative results
- Pass an extensive background check including criminal history personal references employment and education verification as well as Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
- If prior military must be able to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated upon job offer
