Job Description

Exciting news at Hilton Chicago! They are expanding their team with a new Catering Coordinator position. This opportunity is perfect for those looking to kickstart their career in the industry. What will I be doing

Full support of all Catering and Events Managers in administrative tasks including (but not limited to):

  • BEO diagram and resume creation and updates including Internal distribution and upkeep of BEOs resumes change logs reader board postings
  • Preconference meeting and postconference meeting document creation and participation to include notetaking
  • VIP need management including amenity coordination
  • Utilizing office communication skills to collaborate internally and externally to include use of internal systems such as FDC HotSOS OnQ PM Smart Spend Microsoft Office programs telephone communication.
  • Office management to include office supply ordering equipment maintenance and organization.
  • Proficiency in meeting space logistics features restrictions and curfews. Maintain general knowledge of banquet menus dietary restrictions/recommendations and ADA regulations.
  • Work with team on property tours to promote client satisfaction in addition to organization and execution of preplanning visits and site inspections.
  • Work with Events and Catering Coordinators to maintain proper filing office supplies and teamwork on task completion.
  • Generate contracts in support of Catering Managers.
  • Direct client contact as required by Managers.
  • Management of functions from initial enquiry through to final invoicing.

Pay Rate

The hourly rate range is $24.00 to $25.50 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location

What are we looking for

Minimum Years of Experience: one (1) year guest contact or customer experience & Microsoft Office Experience

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Knowledge of the hotel property management systems ()
