As a Pastry Cook 3 at The Beverly Hills Hotel your compensation will be $31.10 per hour.

A day in the life of our Pastry Cook 3 it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Pastry Cook 3 accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.
Safely and appropriately use baking and measuring tools/equipment/appliances to prepare baked goods.
Follow and ensure compliance with food safety handling policies and procedures including personal hygiene.
Check to ensure correct temperatures of kitchen appliances and food and report issues to management.
Monitor the quality of food prepared and portions served throughout the shift.
Keep management informed of excess food items that need to be utilized.
Follows company policies and procedures including safety and security; report accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions to a manager; complete safety training and certifications.
Understand and be the driver of the agreed culinary concepts goals philosophies and food and beverage directions.
The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of a Pastry Cook 3 but well make sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our hotel. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to bend stoop crouch use hand finger and wrist dexterity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry employees are required to work varying schedules including holidays to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.
