As a Vice President within the GB Central Planning & Analysis team you will be responsible for overseeing the budgeting and forecasting as well as running business and financial analytics and reporting for senior members of the GB. You will also be expected to create maintain and review financial models and analyses (both recurring and adhoc) and conduct deep dive analyses on key issues impacting business performance to determine root cause and propose solutions.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead the dialogue with senior business leadership as well as stakeholders across the Global Bank to provide information on the business trends financial performance market strategy competitive landscape and industry trends
- Help prepare presentation materials and financial analyticsfor senior management for financial reporting meetings quarterly business reviews and budget
- Create maintain and review financial models and analyses (both recurring and adhoc)
- Conduct deep dive analyses on key issues impacting business performance to determine root cause and propose solutions
- Develop consolidate and present insightful and robust qualitative and quantitative financial analysis for key internal clients including senior management; participate and support adhoc special projects and requests as needed
- Partner with business finance teams business managers and transformation team to develop insightful reporting focusing on drivers and the so what now what dialogue
- Gain exposure to senior management and the opportunity to drive valueadd change by helping to simplify processes accelerate automation and enhance analytics and business support
- Lead and manage a team
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- BA/BS in Finance Economics Accounting and corporate finance with at least 5 years of experience
- Understands a Banks balance sheet and P&L
- Exceptional analytical problem solving and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables; strategic thinker
- Excellent oral and written communication and relationship management skills
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Organized and detailoriented with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data summarize key concepts and articulate appropriately
- Strong work ethic; works well in a fastpaced environment
- Proactive and has a sense of urgency ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- The candidate must be a selfstarter and seek to break the statusquo and initiate improvements where necessary
- Ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Management Consulting Corporate Finance and/or Accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Excel PowerPoint Alteryx preferred
