LiveIn Nanny/Family Assistant FullTime Gig Harbor WA
Job Title: Live in Nanny/Family Assistant
Location: Gig Harbor WA (Client is willing to help candidate relocate)
Annual Comp Equivalent To:$30 per hour $85000 annually (very flexible for the right fit depending on experience)
Schedule: MondayFriday approximately 50 hours/week (flexibility required see below)

Overview:
A warm and dynamic family of five in beautiful Gig Harbor WA is seeking a livein Family Assistant/Nanny to join their home unit. The household includes three active boys (ages 7 5 and 1.5). This is a teamoriented role ideal for someone who is highenergy collaborative and easygoing. This role involves working closely with a busy stayathome mom to support the childrens needs and assist with various tasks to create and maintain a smoothly functioning home. The fathers schedule is hectic and sporadic so reliability and adaptability will be crucial.
The family values a positive and fluid approach as well as someone who thrives in a collaborative and active environment. The family is looking for someone who is engaged proactive and present having a genuine love for playing with and teaching children is essential since minimal electronics and phone use while kids are present is the goal. The ideal candidate will seamlessly balance childcare and household tasks with the mom who is deeply committed to creating a collaborative and upbeat environment.
Schedule:
The role requires availability between 7:30 AM and 9:00 PM averaging about 10 working hours per day with breaks and downtime built in. The schedule will be coordinated closely with Mom to ensure coverage where needed.
Flexibility is key especially during travel or when plans shift and the family is committed to offering that same flexibility in return. A teamminded communicative approach will help make this a positive and sustainable working relationship.
Key Responsibilities:
Childcare (TeamBased with Mom):
Assist with morning and bedtime routines
Engage the children in playbased screenfree activities
Support school pickups dropoffs and extracurriculars as needed
Occasional sole care for the children during errands or travel
Help create a warm structured and engaging environment
Family Assistant Duties:
Housekeeping (dishes laundry tidying meal prep assistance cleaning etc. in coordination with mom)
Assist with organization and systems throughout the home
Pack/unpack from travel help manage childrens clothing rotation
Manage deliveries errands and occasional vendor coordination
- Help with planning and executing household routines and logistics
- Assist with caring for small dog food water letting out for potty breaks etc.
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced nanny/family assistant with livein or splitshift experience
Energetic and resilient can keep up with three busy children
Communicative respectful and comfortable working alongside a handson parent
Takes initiative anticipates needs and adapts to changing schedules
Highly engaged while working
Enjoys teamwork and pitching in wherever needed
Must be willing to travel with the family (including possibleyearly international trip and likely multiple domestic trips) passport required or willing to obtain
Valid drivers license required
Background will be conducted upon offer
