Job Description
Title: Assembler (A Shift)
Location: Fairport
Job Family: MOPA

Your Impact:
As a valued team member youll help create quality products while contributing to a safe and efficient work environment. Heres what youll be doing:
- Set up and operate a variety of assembly equipment including small hydraulic presses staking machines drill presses welding machines air drivers spin riveters and winders.
- Rotate between work cells as directed by your Supervisor or Cell Leader ensuring smooth production flow.
- Pack finished products carefully to ensure theyre ready for shipment.
- Keep your work area organized clean and safe at all times.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the team.
- Follow established quality standards to ensure every product meets expectations.
Qualifications:
Were looking for someone who can bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Proficient English reading and writing skills including the ability to understand MSDS sheets and work instructions. A High School Diploma/GED is preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment.
- Strong manual dexterity and mechanical skills.
- Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools as well as measuring devices.
Physical Requirements:
This role involves the following physical activities:
- Regularly lifting up to 20 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Bending at the waist and working in a standing position for extended periods.
- Moving around on foot to complete various tasks.
Hours:
- A Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- B Shift: 4:00 PM 12:30 AM
