Position Overview:
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and detaildriven Program Services Estimator to support upcoming infrastructure projects including utility line work and potential sewage treatment plant construction in Ascension Parish. The Estimator will work closely with clients design teams and contractors to provide accurate datadriven estimates and support all phases of preconstruction. This position is ideal for someone with experience in utility infrastructure and sewage treatment plant work and who thrives in a fastpaced collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates across all project stages from conceptual to final construction documents.
Lead and support preconstruction efforts including schedule development cash flow analysis permitting coordination and procurement strategy.
Evaluate project plans technical documents and site conditions to generate accurate estimates for labor materials equipment and subcontractor pricing.
Collaborate with owners engineers and architects to ensure cost alignment with project goals and constraints.
Conduct site visits and field assessments as necessary.
Review contractor bids for completeness and accuracy.
Provide input on contractor selection and value engineering opportunities.
Support presentations and reporting during the proposal and design phases.
Mentor junior estimators and share best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of estimating experience infrastructurefocused role.
Strong experience with utility line work and/or wastewater/sewage treatment plant projects.
Proficiency in estimating tools and software (e.g. Bluebeam Sage Estimating or similar platforms).
Excellent knowledge of construction methods cost structures and market trends.
Ability to interpret blueprints technical drawings and project specifications.
High level of organization accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong communication and clientfacing skills.
