Visual Designer

Reporting to the Manager Visual and Production Design the Visual Designer maintains design integrity across marketing materials digital platforms and traditional experiences collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
This is an onsite position.
What will you do
- Solve design problems by applying innovative visual and user interface (UI) standard methodologies based on research and attention to detail.
- Develop creative concepts for crossdepartmental projects.
- Assist the design team in leading projects and processes endtoend from inception to delivery (concepting pitching delivering).
- Follow and assist in maintaining design patterns that ensure a consistent visual user experience across all products.
- Creative design of materials for use in digital marketing activities including advertising landing pages marketing websites emails print templates and brand standards.
- Assist in the production of all graphic assets for a set group of clients within the organization.
- Find opportunities to innovate on visual approaches with a humancentered focus.
- Craft and maintain the visual craft process from storyboard to HiFidelity comp and prototypes.
- Effectively communicate user and human interaction through deliverables such as storyboards mockups HiFidelity comps and prototypes.
- Work closely with a crossfunctional team of Content Strategists Information Architects Writers Developers Project and Product Managers User Researchers Branding Designers Photographers and Creative Directors.
- Help build and maintain a Global Design System (GDS) for and its family of web properties.
- Learn our brand and pattern guidelines that establish usability standards to ensure consistently high results.
- Learn how to implement photography standards across organizations.
How you will get there:
Experience
- Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent work experience with emphasis on design (instead of research or usability evaluations).
- A minimum of 1 years in a userfocused and creative environment within a corporation or agency setting.
- Online portfolio showcasing strong humancentered design methodologies and traditional graphic design principles.
- Demonstrate solid skills with design software such as the Adobe CC Sketch XD etc.
- Collaboration with UX researchers marketers merchandisers product and project managers and frontend developers.
- Understanding of the printing process.
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of CX design principles visual design trends and emerging web technologies current UI and UX mobile design patterns and RWD/adaptive web standard methodologies.
- Working with approved wireframes iterate design options into tangible and compelling experiences.
- Ability to quickly learn use and/or troubleshoot other tools like InVision Slack Litmus and Browserstack.
- Working knowledge of project management tools like Workfront Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with basic frontend web development (XHTML CSS and JS) and a clear understanding of what is and isnt possible online.

- Developed presentation and client relationship skills.
- Be able to balance multiple tasks and be nimble enough to switch between projects at a moments notice.
