Job Description
The beautiful Embassy Suites Orlando International Drive Convention Center is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to help lead their team!
This 244suite property is located 10 minutes from the Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld Orlando and a mile from the Orange County Convention Center!
The ideal candidate for this position will be an innovative leader with prior experience in food and beverage management specializing in overseeing banquets restaurant operations breakfast buffets and complimentary evening receptions. This role requires a handson leadership approach and offers a fantastic opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the operation including ordering beverage control and overall department management. Strong team management skills are essential for ensuring smooth operations and driving success. A background in bar and beverage operations is highly desirable and prior hotel leadership experience as well as experience with largescale banquets is preferred.
Shift Pattern:Full availability is required including weekdays weekends and holidays

What will I be doing
A Food and Beverage Manager would be responsible for organizing and managing the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain the high standards of food and beverage quality service and marketingin the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Plan and direct all functions of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation to include the outlet and banquet functions.
- Prepare assign and delegate responsibility and authority for the operation of the various food and beverage subdepartments.
- Develop implement and monitor schedules for the operation of all food & beverage outlets to achieve a profitable result.
- Participate in the creation and marketing of menu designs to attract a predetermined customer market.
- Implement effective controls of food beverage and labor costs among all subdepartments and monitor the food and beverage budget to ensure efficient operation and that expenditures stay within budget limitations including achieving budgeted revenue and labor expenses.
- Regularly review evaluate and respond to customer satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction of the individual outlets; recommend new operating and marketing policies whenever a change in demand customer dissatisfaction or a change in competitive environment requires such changes.
- Ensure compliance with all Hilton Hotels policies and procedures that relate to food and beverage as well as local state and federal laws and regulations
- Hire train supervise develop discipline counsel and evaluate line employees according to HHC policies and procedures. #LIAR2
