Job Description
General Summary:
The Procurement Manager is responsible for collaborating with Retail Leadership and Marketing to
develop merchandising marketing and customer experience strategies that will drive customer
acquisition retention and revenue growth. Delivers procurement process to support strategic goals
by preparing the required analysis sourcing negotiations and forecasting within budget.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Procurement:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize cost quality and delivery
- Manage the entire procurement cycle from sourcing and vendor selection to contract negotiation and performance evaluation
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers conducting due diligence and risk assessment
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers ensuring favorable terms and conditions
- Manage supplier relationships foster collaborative partnerships and resolve any performance issues
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Develop and manage the procurement budget tracking expenditures and identifying cost saving opportunities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities performance metrics and cost savings
- Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in procurement
Merchandising & Inventory:
- Provides strategic direction of merchandising with planning fresh and full guidelines purchasing of new goods determining floor sets and fixturing at stores
- Responsible for the inventory management process
- Recommends datadriven layouts seasonal floor sets and signage to support revenue growth
- Manages new stores products supplies and fixtures coordinating deliverables to meet deadlines
- Oversee the brand application and standardization of the Goodwill customer experience
Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills to interact with employees and the public
- Knowledge of RFP process and contract negotiation
- Work effectively in crossfunctional teams towards a common goal
- Project management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis
Travel Required: Ability to travel up to 25 %
