Job Description
Facility: Centinela Hospital Medical Center
Address: 555 E Hardy St Inglewood CA 90301
Contract: 6 months (Part TimePRN)
Shift: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM (M
Pay Rate: $80/hr (W2) $85/hr (1099)
Shift Coverage: 16 24 hrs/week depending on patient census
Availability for more coverage: Option for 3 days a week and 2 Saturdays a month
Job Summary:
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech language voice cognition and swallowing disorders
- Document evaluations progress and discharge summaries in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Provide patient and family education related to treatment and rehabilitation goals
- Adjust therapy interventions based on patient response and condition
- Current California licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred
- Availability to work a flexible per diem schedule
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
