Associate Specialist Logistics AdministrationProgram Summary
Program of Record Development Limited Production and Sustainment contract for TIGS (Tactical Integrated Ground Suite) including mobile SATCOM kits training assets and software development environment (SDE). TIGS is deployed at 1 OCONUS location and 2 CONUS location.
Job Summary
The Associate Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing the organizations daily logistical operations including inventory control procurement and distribution. Oversees warehousing of goods and regularly review inventory to ensure accurate product adjustments. Plan and schedule inbound and outbound shipments based on customer needs coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
Acts as a procurement liaison and ensures all necessary contract PRs are created routed and completed.
Coordinates shipment of faulty equipment to the manufacturer/maintenance facility for repair.
Takes requirements from technical and engineering staff and research vendors gather quotes issues and monitors purchase requisitions to completion.
Compiles and maintains records of quantity type and value of material property equipment merchandise or supplies. Records may include but are not limited to Requisitions Invoices Material Inspection and Receiving reports.
Conducts periodic inventories of governmentfurnished material and equipment.
Prepare reports and documents in compliance with government procedures and requirements.

Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field with no experience. In lieu of formal education at least 8 years of progressive experience in a related field. 4 years of specialized military experience in the relative field can be substituted for a BA/BS degree.
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. Deltek Costpoint).
Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning warehouse management).
Possess a valid drivers license.
Able to operate and may be required to certify on warehouse equipment such as forklift.
Knowledgeable in DoD/DA/Federal publications/regulations and forms.
Preferred Qualifications
A current Secret DoD Secret security clearance.
BA/BS in Supply Chain management/ Logistics
Familiarity with DoD contracts
Salary Range: $45000 $80000
