1. Acts as a coach by training mentoring scheduling counseling and providing guidance to hourly Maintenance employees. a. Provides leadership through effective communication and coaching. b. Provides assistance and support c. Manage maintenance training by instructing assisting all new and current maintenance employees and ensuring that each employee is able to satisfactorily demonstrate mechanical competencies. d. Delivers Training by conducting hands on training sessions and simulations to teach maintenance technicians how to perform their jobs safely and efficiently e. Evaluate training effectiveness by assessing the knowledge and skills of trainees. f. Identifies training needs by analyzing job performance equipment failures and other relevant information to identify areas where training is needed. g. Ensures a positive work environment exhibiting the companys values and a culture of respect for all employees. h. Motivates corrects and challenges personnel with a positive approach. j. Able to recommend or suggest the hiring firing advancement promotion or any other status changes of employees with consideration of the frequency with which such recommendations are made requested and relied upon. k. Maintains open dialogue with assigned team. l. Handles employee complaints grievances and concerns as needed. When approached with feedback and concerns able to resolves them in the most direct and positive way possible. m. Ensures all company policies are followed. n. Train and Supports Maintenance Technicians in troubleshooting pneumatic hydraulic electric equipment PCL and Process Controls software and ensures necessary repairs are completed expeditiously. o. Provides leadership for planning and executing preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance programs. Provide leadership for Technicians who are performing these tasks. p. Manages employees hours for maintenance department 2. Manages highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and other plant equipment. a. Manages daily morning setup break down equipment at the end of the shift equipment installs parts replacement troubleshooting equipment etc. b. Trains and supports Technicians in troubleshooting pneumatic hydraulic electric equipment PLC and Process Control software and ensures necessary repairs are completed expeditiously. c. Supervises outside contractors to perform repairs on failed machinery and equipment. d. Understands the tools and equipment needed to do each job. e. Understands and determines when and what type of maintenance is needed. f. Determines causes of operating errors and processes and communicates with others and manager. g. Resolves all maintenance and mechanical problems promptly with minimal disruption to production schedules. h. Communicates any issues that remain unresolved to manager promptly. i. Provides leadership for planning and executing of preventative and predictive maintenance programs Leads equipment installations including hooking up air water gas and the alignment and leveling of equipment.
3. Completes maintenance recordkeeping. a. Keeps record of all work performed. b. Updates maintenance history logs and completes required paperwork. c. Accounts for equipment used for maintenance and repairs. 4. Understand and follow the company GMP policy. 5. Understand and follow the company safety rules. 6. May be required to work additional hours and weekends. 7. May assume other duties as assigned.
