Heres What You Need
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent required and
- Associates degree in Human Resources or related field or2 years relevant work experience in lieu of a degree required
- 2 years administrative experience in healthcare insurance or occupational health preferred
What You Will Do
This role supports the daytoday functions of the IDM role serves the work comp team as well as the leave team.
- Administers the leave process from start to finish by verifying eligibility calculating leave length monitoringduration of leave providing disability information and supporting the return to work process.
- Ensures compliance with applicable policies laws and regulations
- Ensures data integrity
- Communicates designation of leaves denials leave extensions recertifications return to work plans and other important information regarding the leave with the employee HR and managers.
- Maintains detailed files for all employees who take leaves or request accommodations
- Anticipates customers needs and proactively responds to these needs
- Responds to disability carriers request for employee information in a timely manner Serve as employee advocate andassist with navigation through the LOA process
- Refer employees to EAP and other THR Total Health resources
- Provide assistance and answer questions for employees managers an/or carrier throughout the LOA process
- Reviews all billing statements received from vendors
- Initiates payment per Medical Fee Guidelines for Workers Compensation claims managed inhouse
- Distributes billing to carrier for claims that have been filed with carrier
- Proactively identifies possible accommodations and initiates the reasonable accommodation process.
- Anticipates customers needs and proactively responds to these needs
- Responds to disability carriers request for employee information in a timely manner Serve as employee advocate andassist with navigation through the LOA process
- Refer employees to EAP and other THR Total Health resources
- Provide assistance and answer questions for employees managers an/or carrier throughout the LOA process
- Manages IDM inboxes and responds to employee inquires as needed
- Serves as backup to other roles in department as needed to ensure all tasks are completed and customers areassisted timely including answering phones
- Assists with IDM inbox and responds to employee inquires as needed.
- Assists employees managers and HR with questions or issues that are related to employees on all leaves of absences workers compensation modified duty requests for Helping Hands assistance returns to work and benefitsbilling
- Update Peoplesoft with employee leave information and history
