Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Validation Engineer located in Libertyville IL.
Reporting to the Quality Manager the Validation Engineer role will be responsible for maintaining quality engineering programs standards and improvements during product development.
What a typical day looks like:
- Control the products qualities during product development to meet customers specified standards.
- Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection testing and evaluation.
- Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.
- Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials product or process quality and reliability.
- Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
- Supports Design Engineers and Quality Manager with customer interfaces as necessary on quality related issues.
- Assures data availability and integrity for all quality related data. Consolidates and reports quality results.
- Initiates corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.
- Designs and implements methods and procedures for inspecting testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment.
- Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action.
- Support product process and equipment qualifications.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- Typically requires a bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience and training.
- 6 years of experience working as a validation engineer.
- 6 years of Injection Molding experience.
- 6 years of Medical Devices experience / ISO13485.
- Experience working in a 24/7 operation.
- Experience working within regulated environments and with Regulatory protocols.
