Job Description
Dining Services at Elizabethtown College is currently seeking (2) third shift Environmental Services Technicians. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the cleanliness sanitation and organization of all hardsurface floors in kitchens bathrooms and locker rooms within Dining Services operations. The Environmental Services Technician will play a critical role in maintaining safe sanitary and welcoming facilities by following established cleaning protocols.
Physical Demands
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Regularly walk climb stairs/ladders stoop kneel crouch and crawl. Frequently use hands to grasp move or hold objects. Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds Occasionally push and pull equipment or carts weighing up to 50 pounds. Stand for long periods of time VISION REQUIREMENTS To successfully perform this position individuals must possess the following: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) Depth perception and the ability to judge distances and spatial relationships. Adjustable focus WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is performed indoors and occasionally outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Exposure to cleaning chemicals noise and temperature fluctuations. Requires adherence to all safety protocols to minimize risks.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED . One year of custodial experience preferred For full consideration please include current/prior employment and contact information for 3 references.
Preferred Qualifications
Valid U.S. drivers license is preferred OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Certification (preferred) or ability to obtain upon hire
