CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
VINCENNES INDIANA
The Company:
This healthcare provider has been a leader in the region for more than 100 years. A regional referral center and the largest employer in Knox County. The hospital and providers support a 10county region and is located in Vincennes Indiana.
Scope of the Job:
The Chief Administrative Officer will be based in Vincennes Indiana and will report to the Chief Executive Officer. The Chief Administrative Officer will be responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations and administrative functions of the hospital including managing finances human resources compliance facilities management and overall operational efficiency.
Works with leadership to align clinical and operational missions involving the providers of the system.
Monitors and responds to the adequacy and soundness of the organizations financial structure. Provides leadership and feedback to coworkers to optimize financial outcomes service improvements and market position.
Participates in developing and executing strategic plans and budget targets into operational action plans which guide resource allocation and the coordination and direction of personnel; directs operations to achieve the annual operating plan.
Must work collaboratively with Provider colleagues. Contributes to the establishment of a learning environment.
Provides leadership guidance support and direction to responsible departments.
Reviews the organizations operating results compares them to established objectives and takes steps to ensure that the desired results are achieved. Sets objectives to assure continued success improvements in quality and outcomes and establishes an environment where successful performance is valued.
Promotes reinforces and personally demonstrates the Mission and Values of the system.
Oversees the daytoday operations policy development and regulatory compliance.
Serves as a visible accessible and engaged leader to employees.
Participates in Board employee and medical staff meetings as required. Serves as executive representative to system/professional/civic service organizations as directed. Meets with organizations as executive representative as directed. Meets with community members as needed to foster good community relations.
Identify market trends and opportunities for growth.
Maintains positive relationships with the Medical Staff to integrate physicians into decisionmaking processes and to ensure that physicians needs are met.
Develops and maintains an integrated structure with the Physician enterprise.
