Kenneth Young Center is a 501(c)(3) notforprofit dedicated to providing comprehensive outpatient behavioral health services to individuals of all walks of life. Located in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago we offer a wide range of services including outpatient therapeutic care recoveryoriented support community prevention LGBTQ outreach older adult services and crisis intervention. Job Scope: At Kenneth Young Center we are looking for a strategic and compassionate behavioral health executive with extensive experience leading integrated communitybased programs that serve individuals across the lifespan. Demonstrated success in advancing traumainformed personcentered care models within nonprofit and safetynet settings. Committed to fostering health equity expanding access to care and building collaborative partnerships that support wholeperson wellness.
Program Responsibilities:
- Strategic and Operational Leadership:
- Develop and implement a unified vision for behavioral health services that aligns with KYCs mission of personalized prevention intervention treatment and recovery.
- Clinical Oversight:
- Ensure High quality evidencebased care across programs such as outpatient therapy mobile crisis response psychosocial rehabilitation and communitybased recovery services.
- Program Development:
- Expand and innovate services including harm reduction initiatives SMART Recovery groups and LGBTQ affirming care.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Maintain adherence to regulatory standards including those set by the Joint Commission and ensure programs meet grant and contract requirements.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor multidisciplinary teams fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Leadership and Vision:
- Ability to guide teams through change set strategic priorities and inspire innovation in service delivery.
- Operational Excellence:
- Skilled in managing budgets optimizing workflows and leveraging data for decision making.
- Community Engagement:
- Proficient in building partnerships with stakeholders including healthcare providers schools and community organizations.
- Cultural Competency:
- Deep understanding of diverse populations ensuring services are inclusive and responsive to community needs.
- Regulatory Knowledge:
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations accreditation standards and best practices in behavioral health
- Trauma Informed Care:
- Implement practices that recognize and respond to the impact of trauma on clients lives.
- Integrated Care Models:
- Promote coordination between mental health substance use and primary care services.
- EvidenceBased Practices:
- Utilize interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
- Youth and Family Engagement:
- Develop programs that support youth empowerment and family involvement treatment.
- RecoveryOriented Systems:
- Focus on client strengths and support longterm recovery goals
Education and Experience
- Masters level degree with significant experience in behavioral health
- Top Tier business and operational experience
- Trackrecord of creating valuebased accountability
- Flexible resourceful and positive oriented outcome
- High integrity ethics and values trusted without reservation.
Schedule/Time Keeping/TimeOff
- Exempt FullTime 37.5 hour work week
- Must work a flexible schedule in response to the needs of the target population served including evening and Saturday hours.
- Time Keeping Accurately record hours worked in the electronic timekeeping system (on a daily basis when possible) in accordance with the timekeeping policy and practice.
