Job Description

The production assembler is responsible for assembling from subassembly to the finished unit according to drawings travelers and manufacturing procedures.
Your daytoday work may include but is not limited to:
Performs electromechanical assemblies in the form of subassemblies and final assembly products under a microscope.
Assemble ultraminiature assemblies or be fully proficient in a specific product line.
Operates standard shop equipmentt including soldering iron microscope ultrasonic cleaner and furnaces.
Reworks malfunctioning units.
Communicates with the calibration department to ensure accurate assembly and proper operation of the units.
Conduct ongoing crosstraining to increase skills and knowledge.
Solder miniature parts under a microscope for extended periods during the work shift.
Flexible and capable of processing more complex assemblies with minimal oversight.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Professional Qualifications
35 years of experience in electromechanical assembly soldering under a microscope.
Must be able to read and understand engineering assembly drawings.
Advanced schematic reading and ability to troubleshoot assemblies.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Good dexterity of hands and eyes.
Good communication skills.
Certified for JSTD C or IPC610.
Must be a local candidate.

Compensation
$22.00 $25.00 per hour
