Job Description
The anticipated duration of this temporary assignment is approximately 6 months.
Candidates Hired Must Be Able To:
- Successfully complete all required background checks and health screenings.
- Work occasional evenings or weekends depending on the scheduling of community events.
- Perform duties across various UCSF and communitybased settings with flexibility and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver standardized community education lessons and manage related volunteer activities.
- Assist in planning and coordinating special events in collaboration with leadership and community partners.
- Collect and maintain data on program activities including attendance and outcomes.
- Support participant recruitment to meet established program goals.
- Maintain inventories activity logs and administrative documentation.
- Foster relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- Provide general support to program volunteers.
- Participate in training and development to enhance program knowledge and delivery skills.

UCSFs Temporary Employment Program (TEP) recruits and hires temporary employees for immediate clerical and technical support services to UCSF Departments and various offcampus locations. UCSF departments deploy temporary employees to work on special projects fill in for regular employees who are on vacation or leave or to temporarily fill a vacant position during recruitment. Frequently temporary employees become successful candidates for career and limited appointment positions.
