Pleasant Valley Community School District is currently hiring substitute teachers for theschool year.
To substitute teach in the State of Iowa you must hold a current Iowa Teaching License Iowa Substitute Teaching License or Iowa Substitute Authorization License.

QUALIFICATIONS: Holds an Iowa teaching certificate meets the requirements of certification or holds a Substitute Teaching certificate or a Substitute Authorization certificate issued by the State of Iowa.
REPORTS TO: Building Principal
JOB GOAL: To enable each child to pursue his education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of his regular teacher.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Per diem at rates currently established by the Board.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium Work lifting carrying pushing pulling 2050 lbs. occasionally 1025 lbs. frequently or up to 10 lbs. constantly. Stooping and kneeling occasionally. Reaching talking and hearing frequently. Must be able to remain mobile throughout the work day.
