We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical Sales and Reporting Analyst to support our retail ecommerce and wholesale teams through datadriven insights and reporting. This role plays a key part in tracking sales performance customer behavior and inventory trends to help optimize merchandising pricing and promotional strategies in a fastmoving fashion environment.
This role is based in our New Orleans Headquarters 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales performance metrics trends and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and distribute regular reports and dashboards to track sales performance.
- Monitor sales targets and provide insights on opportunities for growth.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify sales trends and deviations from forecasts.
- Collect clean and organize sales data from multiple sources (CRM ERP POS etc.).
- Develop and maintain dashboards using tools like Excel Power BI or Tableau.
- Partner with IT and Sales Leaders to ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms.
- Help develop and improve financial models and dashboards for better decisionmaking.
- Assist in sales forecasting and demand planning to support business strategy.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize pricing and promotions.
- Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in financial analysis accounting or related roles (internships included).
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with financial software (Oracle Netsuite or similar)
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables VLOOKUP macros) and data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau).
- Experience with database management (SQL) or reporting automation/enhancement using AI is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with inventory management and/or retail business experience would be beneficial but not necessary
- Solid understanding of sales performance metrics and reporting techniques.
- Analytical mindset with strong problemsolving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization and ability to collaborate with different
- teams
