You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailHelen DeVos Childrens Hospital is seeking an outgoing energetic APP to join our team in our growing Lansing clinic. Under the direction of a physician provide medical care to patients of varying type and acuity. This is a part time position with a flexible schedule to be determined.
Candidate with orthopaedic experience preferred however will train as needed; mentorship and ongoing training occurring regularly for all clinical staff. Ideal candidate is proficient in making experienced decisions diagnosing and treating a variety of upper and lower extremity injuries and other common pediatric orthopedic conditions.
Responsibilities performed:
** This position will be primarily located in the Lansing MI satellite clinic
** Initial training of 69 months will take place at our Grand Rapids location
** RNFA certification required to actively participate in the OR
Basic Qualifications (Nurse Practitioner):
Education Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a masters postmasters or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
Experience 3 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in current relevant clinical experience Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role

Basic Life Support (BLS) Note used for BLS CPR & BCLS) All
Basic Life Support (BLS) Specific to SHMG 90 Days
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Specific to SHMG ACLS if required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) All except Neonatal Services Peds Trauma and Hospice
Basic Qualifications (Physician Assistant):
Education Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
